Description

“Chiuse di Sant’Arcangelo” is our Moraiolo monocultivar. The olives for this oil come from our most extreme olive groves, located at altitudes up to 600 meters. At this altitude, very few olive varieties can thrive, and one of them is Moraiolo. In these conditions, this exceptional olive variety not only survives but also develops unique characteristics: the fruits are very small but yield oils rich in antioxidants, resulting in high intensities of bitterness and spiciness. The aromas are fresh, with notes of cut grass, almond, and artichoke. It is a perfect oil to use raw on legume soups, grilled meats, and, of course, bruschetta.
