Description

“Casalontana” is the oil certified as DOP Umbria – Colli Assisi – Spoleto. This historic family olive grove, the first, has been cultivated by the Gaudenzi family long before the Frantoio Gaudenzi was established in 1950.
“Casalontana” pays tribute to our wonderful land with a blend that varies slightly each year, respecting the production regulations for the DOP Umbria Colli Assisi – Spoleto subzone, which requires a minimum of 60% Moraiolo.
For “Casalontana,” the Moraiolo percentage never falls below 80%, making it one of the most intense oils from the mill.
